As you know, I like to ridicule the big corp ideas I find harmful or stupid. Today, I wanted to write about Facebook’s Metaverse as I believe it fits both categories.
Horizon Worlds is a free VR game that lets users create and visit “worlds” with friends or strangers. It aims to give the new generation a new communication platform as Facebook grew old (and everyone’s parents are already there).
The problem is the metaverse looks the way a social platform should never look: depressing and dull. And the second problem is the company invested $2.8 billion into a game with only 200,000 users monthly.
On October 11th, the company held Meta Connect. The event was supposed to give us the Apple Conference chills but gave us the creeps instead. And the press was ruthless.

Yes, your customer’s license history is now available in the Partner App.
You’ll now be able to check when a trial was upgraded or expired or when the license changes were made. Most importantly, you’ll see all the errors and payment-related issues, so you’ll be able to fix them as soon as they appear.
If you want to check the history of any of your licenses, simply access the license and click the History tab. Sound like black magic? Let this help center article lead you by the hand.
