The Partner Program offers two paths: Affiliate and Solution. Sign-up puts you in Affiliate automatically. Solution requires a separate application. Both give you access to Text, LiveChat, ChatBot, and HelpDesk under one partner account, with no product-specific sign-up required.
Affiliate Partner Program
Automatic on sign-up. No application, no waiting period. You get:
- A unique referral link with a 120-day tracking cookie.
- Banners, videos, and content templates in the Partner app.
- A campaign builder for custom landing pages, promo codes, and adjustable trial lengths.
- Real-time tracking of clicks, trials, and sales.
- Payout via PayPal eCheck, $50 minimum.
Commission: 20% of every payment from a referred customer, for as long as they stay subscribed. After 5 paying customers, the rate rises to 22% on new licenses. You’re paid on the same billing cycle as the customer, monthly or annual.
Fit: bloggers, reviewers, content creators, marketers running paid or email campaigns. No product implementation required, no minimum audience size to join.
Solution Partner Program
Requires application via the Solution section of the Partner app. Free to join. You get:
- Onboarding with one of our experts.
- Free product demo accounts for sales calls and internal training.
- Full access to Text’s APIs and SDKs.
- A Partner Console to create, configure, and manage licenses on behalf of clients.
- Choice of billing model: client pays directly (you earn commission) or you resell licenses at your own margin.
- 24/7 support and exclusive partner content (sales decks, technical docs, training modules).
Fit: consulting firms, IT companies, marketing agencies, freelance developers building on or reselling Text, LiveChat, ChatBot, or HelpDesk.
Which program should you choose?
- Promoting via content or audience only: Affiliate.
- Implementing, customizing, or reselling for clients: Solution.
- Building custom integrations to publish and monetize: Solution with an additional application to the Technology Partner Program.
Partners can run Affiliate and Solution Partner Programs simultaneously. They’re not mutually exclusive.
